This is a blog about sewing and stuff.
Until March 2009, I had never so much as sewn a button on. I always thought sewing was something I would never manage. Luckily my good friend TF took me in hand, taught me the basics and I have progressed onwards and upwards from there. And, more importantly, have discovered that I love sewing, I love creating things and I CAN DO IT! Yay.

Your hexies look great! I like the scrappiness of them. How big are they? They look small. I’m impressed with how much work you’re putting into this. Wow! This is going to be beautiful!

Sharon – each hexagon measures 1 inch along each side, so not too tiny! Cheri – these make great TV watching sewing!

Seeing your lovely work makes me want to do this but I really shouldn’t start anything else. But maybe a basket full by the chair when I watch tv?
